Person Centred Counselling

Person-centred counselling is a therapy that focuses on each person's unique experiences and strengths. Created by Carl Rogers, it provides a supportive and understanding environment where clients can safely explore their thoughts and feelings. The counsellor supports rather than leads, helping clients grow by encouraging self-discovery and acceptance.

This method prioritises the client's viewpoint, allowing them to guide the conversation, which can improve their self-awareness and promote positive change. By respecting each client's value and independence, person-centred counselling aims to empower individuals to find their own solutions and cope better with life's challenges.

Individual personal creativity face art

Unlock self-expression and healing through Person-Centred Creative Arts Counselling—a compassionate and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences through creativity.

Whether through painting, drawing, collage, or other artistic mediums, this approach encourages deep self-discovery and emotional processing. No artistic skill is needed—just a willingness to express yourself in your own way.

As a person-centred therapist, I offer a supportive and empathetic environment where you are in control of your journey. Together, we use creativity as a tool for self-reflection, healing, and personal growth.

Discover the power of creative expression—your story, your art, your healing.

Creative Art Counselling

I began my counselling journey in 2015, initially training with a passion to support those in need. My early experience working with a women’s charity dedicated to domestic abuse has deeply informed my practice, equipping me with insights into the challenges many face and inspiring my commitment to compassionate care.

Today, in my private practice in Warrington, I adopt a person-centred approach, integrating DBT skills, CBT, and yoga theory and practice alongside creative art counselling. Drawing on nearly 20 years of experience as a qualified nurse, I blend clinical expertise with a holistic, empathetic perspective, ensuring each client is supported on their unique path to healing and personal growth.
